By day, I am a Java programmer (who occassionally has to dip into Bash scripts) working for a company in London.
By night, I’m thinking of interesting things to do with my borrowed Sun SPOTs, learning how to write Haskell, learning how to write decent applications in Rails, thinking up new interesting ways are there to reduce the amount of voting and locking required when dealing with distributed systems, and lamenting that I don’t have enough time to do everything.
By weekend, I am am wood worker/turner making toys and furniture (and lots of saw dust).
Luckily, on top of all that I do manage to find the time to be a father to my two daughters and also a husband.
(I used to be a rugby player but my days got so full that something had to go. My rugby urges now have to be satisfied by watching England get stuffed over and over again.)
This site is a collection of my own ramblings and thoughts covering varying topics with varying degrees of interest, coherence and accuracy. (But I do my best.)
